Melamine vs. Laminate Plywood

Water-resistant Melamine:

• Pros: cost-effective, decent style options, suitable for short-term usage such as rental house or temporary accomodation (3-5 years).
• Cons: Poor water resistance (it has slightly better water resistant compared to regular melamine but it is limited to 'slightly better', split of water on the table can resist up to 1 hour), limited color choices.

Laminate Plywood:

• Pros: Good water resistance (spill of water on the table can resist up to 200 hours on the surface), wide color variety (over 1000 colour choices), ideal for long-term usage (10+ years).
• Cons: 50-70% more expensive than melamine
